Kids living for Jesus Changing His world.
Hi there, did you manage to go to Glo last night. It was so much fun. We're building, building, building just now. Check out the video you can see how fast they managed to build up a tower last night, sadly they all fell down just before the end!
Problem was they didn't have a good foundation, they just built the towers as high as they could. You know we need to build a good foundation in our lives so we can grow up to be great men and women. Jesus is the best foundation we can build into our lives.
Just now we are learning some really important things we can build a great foundation with:
Jesus is the Son of God;
Jesus died on a cross for us;
Jesus loves us all so much;
Jesus wants to be your Saviour.
Do you believe in Jesus, He loves you so much. Have you made Him your foundation to build your life on?
McKenzie won the transfer competition - It looks amazing on your arm. I hope it washed off today!
Next week at Glo we're building on our foundation again, looking forward to seeing you there.
If you're in Primary 7 we have a Glo Trainee Helpers group on Fridays at 4pm. It involves training in being a Glo helper, setting up Glo, given a task during Glo and helping distrubutation any leaflets at 8pm. If you are in Primary 7 and would like to join the group just come along at 4pm, bring £1 for supper and stay through till 8pm - we look forward to seeing you there.
We had two fantastic days at Church this week.
It was great to see so many of you at Jump, what a day! It was none stop from beginning to end. Crafts, football, cakes, volleyball, pool, table tennis, PS3, Hama beads, lego and loads more to start with followed by juice and crisps.
After our little snack we heard a little about BUILD, our new theme at K-NL. Throwing the blocks are builder Colin was a hit, I think we'll do that again this Friday. What bit did you like best: the songs, beach ball game, building towers, throwing bricks at Colin or learning about how Jesus came down to earth for each one of us - He died so we could build great lives with God.
After we ate lunch it was time for the inflatables. Gladiator Joust, Assault Course and ball pool pit (we didn't have enough room to get the sumo going then - that happened on Tuesday) What was your favourite one. I loved them all.
By 3pm I think we were all shattered. With our lego block in the bag we went home knowing we are here to build not break.
Kids I hope you had the best day, we certainly had loads of fun!
